Hey, I'm Manu.
What does Manu mean ?
Manu (Sanskrit: मनु) is a term found with various meanings in Hinduism. In early texts, it refers to the archetypal man, or the first man (progenitor of humanity). The Sanskrit term for 'human', मनुष्य or मानव means 'of Manu' or 'children of Manu'.
The Manu who built & designed this site is a 23-year-old मनुष्य — grateful for his name and his curious mind. He did his Bachelor’s in CS and graduated in 2024. Since then he'd been working as a Business Analyst at a tech consultancy in India. He is currently looking at opportunities to get into grad school.

This is a little recreation of some book covers I just can’t stop talking about. I think the right books somehow find its way to us.
Preparing to do the thing isn't doing the thing.
Scheduling time to do the thing isn't doing the thing.
Making a to-do list for the thing isn't doing the thing.
Telling people you're going to do the thing isn't doing the thing.
Messaging friends who may or may not be doing the thing isn't doing the thing.
Writing a banger tweet about how you're going to do the thing isn't doing the thing.
Hating on yourself for not doing the thing isn't doing the thing. Hating on other people who have done the thing isn't doing the thing. Hating on the obstacles in the way of doing the thing isn't doing the thing.
Fantasizing about all of the adoration you'll receive once you do the thing isn't doing the thing.
Reading about how to do the thing isn't doing the thing. Reading about how other people did the thing isn't doing the thing. Reading this essay isn't doing the thing.
The only thing that is doing the thing is doing the thing.
Let me know if you liked this little corner of the internet.
I loved building it and I’d be thrilled to talk about it and about movies, books, projects and (most importantly) share our life experiences.
I’ve loved shaping this project on a screen, yet the truest treasures are the days untouched by devices — where laughter, stories, and real conversation weave their magic. If this little corner spoke to you,
I’d love to connect with you. Please feel free to reach out.
